I could not get enough of this couple. I just love them. I was really pleased with the action in "Riding to Sunset" as well. Burton keeps her Wild Riders fresh and ravishing.Nautier and Wilder is an excellent romance. Fans of Leigh and Burton will not be disappointed by this anthology. For someone who is supposedly smart, Piper is very naive. What the Mackay sisters don't understand is that the males in the family know what kind of monsters are out there. The sisters take their protectiveness as smothering them and not letting them live their own lives. I understand their rebellious nature but when you do something that endangers your safety, that's just stupid and naive. Case in point, Piper running away to NYC by herself and getting the crap beat out of her. I actually felt Dawg's pain when Piper came back bruised and beaten. He felt that he had broken his promise by failing to protect them. Jed is just as dangerous as the Mackay males, he's just better at hiding it. All in all, the story is similar to all Lora's nauti series and it did not disappoint. Unfortunately, I did not read Burton's Riding to Sunset. I purchased this book only for Lora Leigh's novel.
This is actually two stories in one. Both are very good. The first book by Lora Leigh continues with the "lost" sisters and I like where the overall theme went. The only complaint I have is that Dawg is critized so much. I still love the nauti boys but I see how they could be problems for sisters. Anyway, this is Piper's story and I like her already from the very beginning. She is the quiet one and you know what they say about still waters and all. The story line at least takes you outside of Kentucky for where the trouble begins so at least that part was different. Mostly this is about the same as the other books and the sex scenes are good.
I loved this book, matter of Fact I love the whole series Jaci did really good and i am excited for the next installment for this series. I love that family and the girls have some learning to do when it comes to their safety and what they will do to make sure they are safe. I love dawg, natches, and rowdy; I wish I had them around when growing up they sound sexy as hell lbs.
After reading it I see why it took so long since you needed Nauti Tempress to be released first. I was not disappointed.Just left me, anxious for the next book in the series. I haven't read the wild rider series other than the two novellas in the combined books and I was intrigued. Since I got a sense of the characters more in this story I decided to read the whole series.Sorry for my late reveiw just been reading so many books
Riding to Sunset by Jaci Burton - LOVED IT..I've always wanted General Grange Lee to get his own story. He doesn't get a woman but this is about his sister and his niece. The General has hired a new man for the team and after a harrowing mission with Diaz the General ask Jed Templeton to go on a personal mission with him. His sister is missing and while he is looking for her he wants Jed to protect his niece Elena. These two are instantly attracted to each other and seem perfect for one another - problem is Jed is lying about who he is and she has no clue she even has a uncle.It was great seeing most of the Wild Riders at the beginning of the book - miss those guys and their women. It was also great to see a more personal side to the General. Would love more books in this series.Nauti Siren by Lora LeighThis one is part of the new series about Dawg's sisters. Piper Mackay has had it with her brother and cousins over protectiveness that's to the point of smothering them to death. When she gets a letter that a New York fashion designer wants to meet with her in NY she sneaks off without telling anyone where she is going. If you know Mackay women you know this mean they are walking into a world of trouble. Jedediah Booker who's been saying at the Mackay Bed and Breakfast has had a hard time keeping his hands off of Piper while also allowing her to have to space. When things go bad in NY he is the one that gets the call to go and get her.Since this was a short story I was able to enjoy this one more than her full length books of late.
Lora Leigh and Jaci Burton always brings a good product. It is hard, however, to keep so many relatives in mind with the Nautier series. The first three were great. Now it probably should end; goes on for too long. Although there are more sisters so I know it won't.
