"Nauti Siren" by Lora LeighPiper McKay is excited about a new opportunity. In order for her to pursue it she must go to New York City. Piper knows that her brother Dawg McKay will not let her out of his sight. With all of the danger in Dawg's past and present he is reluctant to let the people he loves go without his protection.Jedediah Booker is undercover and practically in love with Piper. When she sneaks off and finds trouble its Jed to the rescue. He rescues her and then lays claim to her, but will he be able to protect her from the danger headed her way? More importantly, can he seduce her?"Nauti Siren" is a hot fast-paced romance with plenty of sex and action. Piper and Jedediah steam up the pages with their intense chemistry. I actually enjoyed "Nauti Siren" more than the first Nauti Girls novel. The drama in "Nauti Siren" is thrilling and the story moves so quickly it keeps the reader engaged."Riding to Sunset" by Jaci BurtonJed Templeton is the newest Wild Rider. He is assigned possibly the most important assignment ever. General Lee's sister is missing and he needs Jed to protect his niece. Only Jed never counted on falling for the beautiful Elena.Elena Madison loves her art gallery. It's her passion; so, when it's vandalized her heart is broken. Thankfully a handsome stranger comes to her rescue but it doesn't take her long to discover that there is more to Jed than meets the eye. Will Elena and Jed find love or will danger find them first?"Riding to Sunset" is a fantastic romance from author Jaci Burton. Jed and Elena are positively riveting. I could not get enough of this couple. I just love them. I was really pleased with the action in "Riding to Sunset" as well. Burton keeps her Wild Riders fresh and ravishing.Nautier and Wilder is an excellent romance. Fans of Leigh and Burton will not be disappointed by this anthology. The sex is sizzling and the storytelling is superb. Nautier and Wilder is the perfect summer read!Miranda for Joyfully Reviewed

For someone who is supposedly smart, Piper is very naive. What the Mackay sisters don't understand is that the males in the family know what kind of monsters are out there. The sisters take their protectiveness as smothering them and not letting them live their own lives. I understand their rebellious nature but when you do something that endangers your safety, that's just stupid and naive. Case in point, Piper running away to NYC by herself and getting the crap beat out of her. I actually felt Dawg's pain when Piper came back bruised and beaten. He felt that he had broken his promise by failing to protect them. Jed is just as dangerous as the Mackay males, he's just better at hiding it. All in all, the story is similar to all Lora's nauti series and it did not disappoint. Unfortunately, I did not read Burton's Riding to Sunset. I purchased this book only for Lora Leigh's novel.

This is actually two stories in one. Both are very good. The first book by Lora Leigh continues with the "lost" sisters and I like where the overall theme went. The only complaint I have is that Dawg is critized so much. I still love the nauti boys but I see how they could be problems for sisters. Anyway, this is Piper's story and I like her already from the very beginning. She is the quiet one and you know what they say about still waters and all. The story line at least takes you outside of Kentucky for where the trouble begins so at least that part was different. Mostly this is about the same as the other books and the sex scenes are good.

I loved this book, matter of Fact I love the whole series Jaci did really good and i am excited for the next installment for this series. I love that family and the girls have some learning to do when it comes to their safety and what they will do to make sure they are safe. I love dawg, natches, and rowdy; I wish I had them around when growing up they sound sexy as hell lbs.

After reading it I see why it took so long since you needed Nauti Tempress to be released first. I was not disappointed.Just left me, anxious for the next book in the series. I haven't read the wild rider series other than the two novellas in the combined books and I was intrigued. Since I got a sense of the characters more in this story I decided to read the whole series.Sorry for my late reveiw just been reading so many books

Riding to Sunset by Jaci Burton - LOVED IT..I've always wanted General Grange Lee to get his own story. He doesn't get a woman but this is about his sister and his niece. The General has hired a new man for the team and after a harrowing mission with Diaz the General ask Jed Templeton to go on a personal mission with him. His sister is missing and while he is looking for her he wants Jed to protect his niece Elena. These two are instantly attracted to each other and seem perfect for one another - problem is Jed is lying about who he is and she has no clue she even has a uncle. It was great seeing most of the Wild Riders at the beginning of the book - miss those guys and their women. It was also great to see a more personal side to the General. Would love more books in this series.Nauti Siren by Lora LeighThis one is part of the new series about Dawg's sisters. Piper Mackay has had it with her brother and cousins over protectiveness that's to the point of smothering them to death. When she gets a letter that a New York fashion designer wants to meet with her in NY she sneaks off without telling anyone where she is going. If you know Mackay women you know this mean they are walking into a world of trouble. Jedediah Booker who's been saying at the Mackay Bed and Breakfast has had a hard time keeping his hands off of Piper while also allowing her to have to space. When things go bad in NY he is the one that gets the call to go and get her.Since this was a short story I was able to enjoy this one more than her full length books of late.

Lora Leigh and Jaci Burton always brings a good product. It is hard, however, to keep so many relatives in mind with the Nautier series. The first three were great. Now it probably should end; goes on for too long. Although there are more sisters so I know it won't.

#1,007 Free in Kindle Store (See Top 100 Free in Kindle Store)

I'll start with saying the problems with this book is not the author's writing. The two biggest issues is lack of knowledge about his subject matter and his poor structuring skills. I going to spoil the first few chapters but it might save you time and frustration. I like realism in my apocalypse/dystopians, it's why I read them. In this novel, Simon a sensitive kind of guy prepares for his first hunt ever by doing a purification ritual, rubbing his naked body with charcoal and tripping off into the woods barefoot with a spear. Ever seen someone walk barefoot in the woods who doesn't have leather for skin? It's a noisy painful process. Not for Simon, he just creeps.up on that defenseless deer. First off, deer aren't defenseless. They have a flight response coupled with incredible sight, smell and hearing. There is a reason hunters sit in stands, all still and quiet.Naked Simon creeps up and kills it with one spear stab. On his first hunt. You're lucky to see a damn deer on your first hunt. I nearly cried with old Simon at how ridiculous this was. It goes on with two knowledgeble country boys tossing chili cans in the brush by their sleeping area. Even boy scouts know that's a good way to wake up with a raccoon in your face. The thing is I can just grumble and let that go, if, IF the story is good. Here what killed it for me. We follow poor anxious Simon back to civilization after 2 years alone in the woods. He is a bundle of nerves, jumping at shadows and the reader is jumpy with him. The in a great tension filled moment, Simon, trying to siphon gas, slices his hand open and screams curses. Then he hears a kid's voice say "Hold it right there mister." And you're all in the moment when he pulls a common ploy, end chapter, switches to a new character. Okay. Annoying but I'll skip ahead. The next Simon moment is a flashback to two years ago! Seriously? This pissed me off. So I skip ahead more. Next Simon is lamenting that he killed the kid, but decides it's the past and.he won't think about it!!!! No kidding. That's all you get! He builds up a great tense moment and then delays twice, before blowing you completely off. The point of tension is to keep you reading, not make you quit. I quit. Way better books out there. I guess I decided to hold it right there, mister.

I received this book from Read for Review in exchange for an honest review.Wow, what a great apocalyptic novel! I predict this book will become a big hit and would make a great movie. Two years after a horrible world war and disease have ravaged the world, Brian and Steven emerge from their well-stocked and comfortable bunker. They were on their way to collect Steven's sister, Bethany, from the bunker where she had been staying,in order to meet up with her uncle, General Driscoll. Meanwhile, Simon Kalispell and his dog, Winston, emerge from their secluded cabin in the wilds of Canada in order to make his way home to find his parents, as planned two years prior, before the commencement of the war. Eventually, their paths cross in unexpected ways. The book then goes back in time to explain who each ended up in hiding for two years, telling their back stories.First of all, I have to say how much I liked Winston, Simon's beloved dog companion.. He was every much as much a character as the humans!I found the book to be well-written. The story grabbed me from the first page and I could barely put it down. The relationship between Steven and Brian was well-developed. They were complex characters, I thought, and at times it was hard to read about what they were going through. Most parts of the book relating to them was very graphic. Simon was a very so,Italy, spiritual, character, very strong and resourceful. What happened when they all reached their pre-arranged locations is described in Book Two and is pretty graphic, and exciting. The other characters in the novel are varied, and not easily forgotten.Overall, I really really liked this book and recommend it highly, if you enjoy this genre.

I thoroughly enjoyed "The After War: The Complete Series" by Brandon Zenner and can honestly blame him for my lack of sleep during the last few days. The story is told in two parts - in the first, the author focuses on the cross-country trek of two separate groups, two years after a virus almost decimates the entire population. Part 2 follows the same groups as they acclimate to living with other survivors in towns and communities that are interconnected and protected by a trained security force.Simon is a rich kid whose parents were preppers and had prepared a cabin in the deep woods of Canada for just such a situation. Here, Simon, who by the way is an expert in tracking, hunting, and foraging from almost a decade with the scouts, lives with his dog, Winston. They've survived the 2-year quarantine period and leave to head back home to his family.Brian and Steve are cousins and best friends who live together in an underground bunker which was built and stocked with food, water and supplies to last three or more years. They too, must leave their quarantine after two years and travel east to link-up with their uncle after retrieving a sister and friend from another private bunker in another state.En route, both groups are in awe of the devastation and encounter others - some welcome - others not as they want to take everything they own. Oftentimes, they are outgunned, and are lucky to escape with their lives. Without supplies, Brian and Steve, weak from the lack of food and water, become lethargic and have a falling out. They become separated and Brian continues by himself, barely alive, finally reaching the bunker of Steve's sister and friend. After nursing him back to health, the threesome leave their sanctuary and set out to locate their uncle.Part II is about the community life of the survivors one year after the two groups arrived. They are doing well and set-up trades with neighboring towns. However, groups of mercenaries are traveling cross-country and overrunning towns - killing the inhabitants and taking all the supplies for themselves. Two such groups are heading their way and want everything the community has. The odds are overwhelming against the good guys...how will it all end? Readers will be on the edge of their seats for most of the story...heads-up!Highly recommended! I also have to mention that the author has a knack for describing things - adding off-the-wall comments or phrases about it that will make readers smile or laugh outright. You'll see what I mean. Great job, Mr. Zenner...writing an Apocalypse book without zombies!John Podlaski, author"Cherries - A Vietnam War Novel" and "When Can I Stop Running?"
