I would definitely recommend this book.
The product inside the book itself is absolutely amazing. It's so detailed has has A recipe for everything and then some. The pages in mine are falling out and I've only used it twice now. I can't find anyone to contact about fixing it so I figured maybe they would see this review and contact me. Other than the horrible quality of the book itself it's amazing. I would have given 5 stars if the book wasn't falling apart.
I bought this book after going to a little home party on essential oils where we made bath bombs, peppermint lotion and bath salts. All the recipes my friend made came from it .....This book is a no frills book ..no pictures, no color.....it's all about the recipes for roller balls, ,sprays, lotions, etc.... It has got recipes for headaches, anxiety, etc! If you are beginner like me, it will be particularly helpful!
Great book! If you're just getting started or have been around the block a few times, this is for everyone.Tons of recipes for everything from ailments, to food & beverage, diffuser recipes, chemical free health & hygiene, chemical free home cleaning, recipes for guy stuff and even bedroom / libido helpers, just to name a few.And, there is also very useful information about essential oils in general, including safe use with children, in pregnancy, which oils are "hot" and much, much, more. Easy to find what you're looking for. Well laid out. Thoughtfully presented.Thank you Brandy for putting it all together! Bravo to you!
The bonding on this book is not good. The first 48 pages are clued in to far that I cannot read the drop amount s to mix recipes I would have to pull the bonding apart in order to read them and the book would fall apart .. Very disappointed and would like Amazon to replace this book.
Not a bad EO recipe book. I wish they had more recipes using basic oils instead of pre bought blends.
This is a must have for anyone new to the essential oil world. It's nicely organized and covers a wide range of ailments and uses for our beloved oils! Even if you don't use Young living oils, you can make most of these recipes. Occasionally it will call for a specific YL blend.
This book is great! It's a great resource to keep all of your recipes in one place. I added tabs to the edges of the pages to find what I need quickly. Plus it has room in the back to add your own recipes as well. I give it as a gift to new oilers because it's straight forward and explains basic info such as carrier oils, vita flex (with chart), using oils with children, etc. My favorite part is the info about the author on the back cover!
